Here is a run-down on what is happening at the Centre at the moment during FireBreak:-

Food Share Pensarn

FoodShare offers a helping hand to families and individuals in the community. Its takes place every Friday at our Centre.  Those joining the FoodShare club are able to take home free food, and pay a club subscription, dependent on the monetary value of the food they choose. For example, if they choose food to the value of £5.00 then their club subscription would be £1.50. This goes up in £1.00 increments currently, to the value of £10.50 for £50 pounds worth of food. The club members complete an online booking form (which appears on the Canolfan Dewi Sant Centre Facebook page every Wednesday) or can contact the organisers of FoodShare on 01492 472321. In addition, members can visit the market shop, when they come to collect their pre-ordered good.

FoodShare is open to EVERYONE. It is totally inclusive. You don't need a referral, you can be unemployed or employed, living on your own or have a family, receiving benefits or not receiving benefits.
